Welcome
Vertical Church is a friendly church. You can expect a warm welcome when you arrive. When you pull into our parking area, you’ll find friendly people who will make your first visit one that encourages you to return. Our helpful parking ambassadors will direct you as you enter the campus. Then, our greeters will guide you and answer any questions that you have. If you have children from birth through fifth grade, we invite you to check them in at our secure children’s ministry area.
As you enter the worship center, our ushers will welcome you, provide a bulletin for you and answer any questions you may have about our service. We invite you to engage in Christ-centered worship and an application-filled study of God’s Word with us.

What Are Services Like?
As our guest, we only ask that you take a few moments to complete our Register, which is passed down the rows each service. The Register is used to help us get to know you a bit. It is a place where you can request information, ask for prayer, let us know your thoughts, or just indicate your presence with us. In any case, we use it to pray for you during the week. You won’t be asked to stand or raise your hand (or anything else embarrassing) just because you’re new. Nor will you have to recite anything or kneel at certain times during the service.
Vertical Church provides practical Bible messages that help you deal with real life issues. We’ll even give you a note sheet with plenty of room to take notes. What you learn on the weekend, you’ll be able to use during the week. Our services last approximately 1.5 hours.
Following our service, you’ll see people jump up and start folding chairs and taking down our equipment. We are a recently planted church that leases space from a school. If you’ve got a ‘can do’ attitude feel free to jump in and help. But you are our guests so there is no obligation for you to. We just want to let you know what’s going on.

Generally speaking, our service begins with worship, led by a band. Most people stand during this time, however, there is complete freedom to be seated if you prefer. The words of all of the songs are broadcast onto screens at the front of the Worship Center. Our hope is that you’ll hear songs you know or can relate to, even if you haven’t been to church in years.
Like most churches, we take an offering in our service. If you are a guest, please do not feel obligated to participate in the offering. This is intended for our regular attendees who consider Vertical Church their church home.

Vertical Church is a place for everyone. Whether you’re wanting to learn more about who God is or looking for a church that has a firm grip on His Word, you are welcome here. You’ll see families, singles, all ages, and stages. And when you come, you’ll see God shows up too.
What To Wear
At Vertical Church, we focus on the heart more than the outward appearance. When you come to one of our weekend services, you will find people dressed in a wide variety of styles from as casual as jeans or shorts, to as formal as suits and dresses. However, most people find themselves somewhere in the middle, most often wearing business casual.
We do ask that people wear clothing that does not draw attention to themselves. We think that what you wear to church should not detract from the worship experience of others around you. We want all of the attention to go to Jesus Christ.
