Act Like Men

At VCC, manhood isn’t passivity or bravado.  It’s Christlike maturity lived together. Our directive comes from 1 Corinthians 16:13–14.

• Be Watchful — Stay alert. Guard your heart. Protect what matters.

• Stand Firm in the Faith — Hold the line. Build on the Word. Don’t compromise.

• Act Like Men — Take responsibility. Lead with courage. Reject passivity.

• Be Strong — Rely on Christ. Endure trials. Persevere with grit.

• Do All in Love — Fuel everything with love. Serve first. Lead with humility.

This is our ethos. This is who we’re becoming — together.

Rallies

Four times a year, on Friday nights, men gather to learn about biblical manliness from a church leader. Half of the time is spent on Biblical teaching. Then, men break out into smaller groups to discuss practical application. Finally, our men spend time praying to the God who calls them to be leaders, workers, and stewards.

Brotherhood Events

Friendship doesn’t happen by accident. Our men’s events create space to laugh, compete, serve, and build trust — so discipleship sticks Monday through Saturday. Expect a mix of service projects, skills nights, outdoors, breakfasts, and father-son moments — always with Scripture, prayer, and next steps.
